Heart Garden Over Newspaper Nails

 ~ <3 ~

What I Used:

Milani: Dreamy Creme (white)
China Glaze: Gothic Lolita (purple),
Fuschia Fanatic, Dance Baby (light pink)
Opi: Black Onyx
Rubbing Alcohol
Newspaper clippings
Fine Nail Art Brush

Before you begin, you will need to clip ten little pieces of newspaper that you want to use for your nails. Also, pour some rubbing
alcohol into a small glass.

After applying your base coat, paint all of your nails white. I used a white pearl color.
Make sure this coat is completely dry before continuing.
Dip your finger into the glass of alcohol for about 5-10 seconds.
Take a piece of newspaper clipping and press it hard onto your nail for about 10-15 seconds.
Make sure you press down on all sides and corners of your nail the best you can.
You will need to repeat this process for each nail.
Using some black polish and a very fine nail art brush,
paint long and short, curved lines ending at the edge of your nails.
The thinner they are, the better it looks.
I crossed some over for effect.
Using the purple and light pink polishes and a fine nail art brush,
paint very small hearts on your nails to represent the flowers on your stems.
I painted only two hearts on each finger and three on the thumbs.
I didn't want to hide the newspaper too much. :)
I added some darker pink in the middle of the light, pink hearts to make it pop out more.
Apply your final clear, top coat for shine and you're done! Enjoy! :)
